Job Openings (10/1/2019):
The Admissions Coordinator is a key member of the Admissions and Advancement team. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, the Coordinator provides day-to-day oversight of application review and operations, managing admissions inquiries from start to fruition.
Meets with new families and executes campus tours. Serves as a liaison with communications and marketing in conjunction with the Director, ensuring timely updating of admissions materials, the admissions website, admissions emails and other forms of communication. Uses data-driven decision making to assist the Director in achieving the yearly enrollment goal
Duties include the following:
Managing admissions inquiries by answering phone calls, emails, etc.
Booking and following up on appointments/tours
Reading and evaluating applications; following up with applicants/families who are missing information from their files. Inputting data into admissions and enrollment systems from student application files
Preparing brochures and other admissions and welcome packages and ensuring office is well stocked
Proctoring student tests
Conducting interviews and meetings with families and students and providing campus tours
Tracking and collecting inquiry data
Helping keep abreast of market and competitor developments
Assisting the admissions & advancement team on different projects and initiatives as needed throughout the year
Participating in department initiatives and projects to meet the needs of the office, the division, and the school
Working with Communications and Marketing department to ensure that admissions webpages and literature are engaging and up-to-date.
Contributing to the office’s data compilation, analysis, and statistical reports as requested by Director.
Qualified applicants must hold a degree in a relevant field, preferably have experience working in a school or higher education in an international environment, and be highly motivated, creative, flexible, detail focused and adaptable to changing environments.
Mother tongue English applicants preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications, public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills. Good working knowledge of spoken Italian. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/google suite/web editing software.
Applicants must demonstrate commitment and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and constituents in support of campus and department missions.
Candidates may be required to work during the evening and weekend commitments as necessary throughout the school year.
