ASM offers an English-speaking, student-centered, American-style education that encourages children to develop their full potential, achieve personal excellence, and become global citizens committed to lifelong learning. We embrace the IB learner profile along with our school values: Respect, Curiosity, Integrity, Courage, and Kindness. Technology is an integral part of student learning. Our elementary school integrates iPads to prepare students for the 1:1 laptop program that begins in Grade 6. The school also offers 3D design, robotics, digital art and photography, and film courses in our modern film studio. There is a Wi-Fi campus-wide.

Set in 9 acres of green space, our campus boasts state-of-the-art science laboratories, two full-sized American gymnasia, a tennis court, a large grass soccer field, and a 27,000-volume library complete with e-books. We also have a 500-seat auditorium constructed in 2019.
ASM’s EC-12th grade enrollment is approximately 880 students and there are more than 100 full-time faculty employed. Our teachers are talented, highly educated, experienced, and, above all, inspiring leaders. The school encourages faculty professional development through a substantial professional growth fund.

Upon graduation, ASM graduates are awarded an American School High School Diploma accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Approximately 95% of seniors complete the full IB Diploma; ASM’s IB results have consistently surpassed world averages in terms of pass rate and average points.

ASM offers an extensive range of co-curricular activities throughout the elementary and upper school, including major team sports, swimming, golf, and tennis; we have a thriving Model United Nations, NHS, ABRSM music exams, and string orchestra, rock and jazz band, yearbook, chess, and rock climbing. ASM belongs to the European Sports Conference for varsity and middle school sports, and teams travel to Spain, Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands for competitions.
