- ensure that all staff members are provided with appropriate training to recognize, identify and respond to signs of abuse, neglect and other safeguarding concerns relating to our students
- ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of incidents or concerns of abuse and support is provided to the individual(s) involved and those who raise or disclose the concern
- ensure that confidential, detailed and accurate records of all safeguarding concerns are maintained and securely stored as per GDPR mandates that will be updated and disseminated to the community as necessary and appropriate.
- provide for a rigorous screening process and background check for all applicants for employment
- ensure that appropriate and necessary safeguarding arrangements and procedures are in operation.
