On Friday November 10th, our ASM Model United Nations Club hosted the 2nd annual ASM MUN Conference.
Welcome to the American School of Milan! As our slogan states, we are here to help children Aim, Succeed and become More. Founded in 1962, we offer an American-style education with international accreditations to children aged 3-18.
Current enrollment is 825 students, with apx. 364 in the Elementary school and 461 in the Upper school. Students represent 50+ nationalities, the largest of these represented at the school are Italian (39%), American (15%), Korean (7%) and Chinese (5%). The school is not-for-profit and governed by a Board of Trustees comprised principally of parents of enrolled students. You may download our admissions prospectus with more information on the school programs and our community of learners.
I hope that you will find our website useful in learning more about our school and that these admissions pages guide you through the admissions and application process. Should you have any questions about our admissions policies or procedures, please do not hesitate to contact me.
My team or I am available to show you our campus and meet personally to explore the possibility of enrollment, though I do encourage you to book your visit in advance to avoid disappointment. During the visit I am happy to explain ASM's programs of study, answer questions, and provide a tour of the school in either English or Italian.
The American School of Milan welcomes applications from students of all nationalities who can contribute successfully to our multicultural community. Students are selected to enter the school on the basis of past school records, teacher recommendations, and an ASM assessment in Math and English (from grade 3 and higher). We are pleased to offer places to those students whose experiences and records indicate that they will succeed in and profit from our school's programs. Our Admissions standards and grade placement policies are published here.
We know that changing schools, relocating and starting a new assignment are all big challenges. We are here to help you through this process. No question is too small, so please don't hesitate to contact me about any aspect of the school or our admissions or application procedure.
