As the end of the school year approaches, a small group of high school students at ASM are gearing up for a special service trip to Puerto Rico from May 23-31.
Extra-curricular activities provide opportunities for leadership and personal growth. The ASM sports and after-school activities are designed to provide students with a variety of activities wherein students can learn new skills, develop their talents, and socialize with friends. The activities fall into three main categories: active, creative and academic. Students are encouraged to take the opportunity to participate in at least one activity during the school year.
Elementary and Upper School students can choose from a menu of activities which is published and distributed to families each September. Recent activities have included small group tennis, fencing, gymnastics, lacrosse, ballet, chess, musical performances, rock and jazz band, After School Achievement Program, karate, and taekwondo. Girl Scouts and Brownies are organized and led by parent volunteers and can meet regularly at ASM.
At the High School level, ASM varsity sports include cross-country, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton and soccer. Our teams travel to other schools around Italy to compete in games and tournaments. Other extra-curricular offerings include yearbook, musical performance, drama and dance.
New activities this year include play yoga for younger children, yoga to grow for older students, junior elementary musical, beginner guitar, electronic music production, and coding and circuitry fun.
To find out more about these activities read through the ASM sports and after-school activities brochure.
Registration for activities is completed online by accessing this link to the After-School Activities registration. All activities must be paid for at the time of registration in order to reserve the space. Online payments can be made with a credit card or PayPal account.
Please note that all after-school activities are ONLY FOR ENROLLED ASM STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.
