Trips at ASM

Field Trips

Each October, ASM students embark on thoughtfully curated field trips that blend learning and adventure. These experiences bring classroom lessons to life while strengthening friendships and teamwork. From the historic cities of Italy to the cultural landscapes of Europe, our field trips allow students to explore new environments, connect with their peers and teachers, and return with lasting memories and a deeper sense of belonging.

It’s more than just travel; it’s experiential learning in action.

Outdoor Education

Our Outdoor Education program, which includes the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, encourages students to challenge themselves physically and mentally while connecting with nature. Through hiking, camping, teamwork, and skill-building activities, students discover resilience, leadership, and self-confidence.

These experiences teach responsibility, cooperation, and problem-solving skills that shape strong character and lifelong curiosity.

Service Trips

Our Service Learning Trips invite students to make a meaningful impact beyond their own community. In partnership with Fondazione Francesca Rava – NPH Italia, Upper School students (Grades 10–12) have the opportunity to participate in humanitarian projects at NPH Homes in the Dominican Republic.

This annual journey combines service, cultural immersion, and reflection to create a meaningful experience. Students participate in community projects, support local children, and learn about global issues firsthand, developing empathy, gratitude, and a genuine sense of purpose.

These experiences are not about where they go, but who they become along the way.

A Journey for Every Age

From Middle School’s immersive week-long field experiences across Italy and Europe to Upper School’s outdoor expeditions and global service trips, ASM’s experiential programs are age-appropriate, inclusive, and transformative.

Each trip reinforces our school’s values of Courage, Curiosity, Respect, Integrity, and Kindness, shaping students who are not just learners—but explorers, leaders, and changemakers.
