In the course of its history, ASM has benefitted greatly from the support and generosity of parents and community members. The school was founded in 1962 by a group of American parents, committed to giving an American-International education to their children, who dedicated their time and finances to setting up the school that you see today. Over the years, many donations have been received: the land on which the school was built, equipment, TV screens, air conditioning and more recently the new Upper school science laboratories. These are just some of the many examples of generosity. We also cannot forget the unswerving hard work of our Parent Teacher Organization, which helps the school by fundraising through our special events, to help renovate rooms like the student kitchen or the Upper School lecture theater and generally support the school for many of its additional needs. The passion and commitment of families and companies contribute to the education of each and every one of our students.
