Sharon Cyr, Vice Consul of the US Consulate in Milan to present keynote address
ASM is excitedly preparing for its fourth annual ASMMUN conference which will get underway on Thursday, December 5th. For the first time, it will be a truly international event this year as ASM will welcome over 200 students from 15 schools and seven countries. Along with 80 ASM delegates who have been eagerly preparing for the conference since last year, the student and faculty participants will bring the total taking part to over 300.
ASMMUN will feature three days of student debates and committee meetings. To kick-off the event, Sharon Cyr, Vice Consul of the US Consulate in Milan will present to students on the unique attributes of the US Foreign Service and international affairs related to the Model UN activities, before sharing a personal account of her journey into this career.
The conference offers one of the first big opportunities for ASM to utilize and showcase its brand new auditorium and state-of-the-art presentation facilities. Look for more updates on the school’s social media channels later this week!
