ASM Welcomes New Director Wayne Rutherford
As of July 1st, Wayne Rutherford took the helm as the new Director of the American School of Milan. Announced to the ASM Community in November 2018, Mr. Rutherford was nominated after a rigorous selection process and from hundreds of potential candidates.
Hats off to our 2019 graduates who have obtained a 34.12 average score on the IB Diploma!
Congratulations to the ASM class of 2019 who earned a 34.12 point average score on the May 2019 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, several points higher than the 2019 provisional world average of 29.63.

Big Saturday Turnout for Panther Sports and Welcome Back Picnic!
The ASM panthers debuted their varsity soccer season with their first home game against TASIS. It was a great day - sunny and cool - for the matches. The girls tried hard but lost as TASIS proved stronger, while the ASM boys team started and finished strongly with a 4-0 win.
