Assessment criteria
The following excerpt is taken from the ASM Policy Manual:
- The following guidelines will be used in the assessment process:
- Academic reports using a letter grading system must indicate average performance (“C”) in all core academic subjects except the primary language, in which a “B” average is required;
- Narrative reports must provide evidence of successful academic performance, with particular reference to evidence of good achievement in the primary language;
- A developmental screening may be required of applicants to the Elementary Learning Units;
- Standardized test results, when applicable, must be submitted for all applicants to all Learning Units;
- A writing sample is required of all applicants to the Upper School Learning Units;
- Results from any and all psycho-educational testing conducted prior to application for admission to ASM must be provided.
- A student’s behavior record will be a part of our overall evaluation.
